Amiga Web Browsers.

At present, there are 5 main Amiga web browsers, although there are always reports of more browsers under development - indeed, two further potential browsers have just been announced or rumoured.

[ New ] The main new potential development is a possible port of Opera to the Amiga (see near the bottom of their page). This all depends upon them having sufficient interest from the Amiga community, so you might like to check out their pages and let them know of your support.

[ New ] The other potential new browser stems from the news that Netscape are to release the full sources to their version 5 Communicator package later this year. Already, there are rumours of the possibility of some Amigans porting this to the Amiga, although nothing firm has yet been annoucend.

All Amiga browsers should work with all current Amiga TCP/IP stacks.

Netscape Netscape will be releasing the sources to their new V5 Communicator (expected around March this year) and there MAY be a 'home-grown' Amiga port as a result. There are no annoucend plans for such a port yet, but plenty of rumour. Stay tuned! 4.0? Y N Y Y Y ?
